After a successful showing in 2022, ES | PR was chosen to be the years Team Leader for 2023’s District Advocate work. Teaming up with the renowned music lawyer Rachel Stilwell, we had the distinct privilege of engaging in substantive conversations with Representative Judy Chu, leader of the Congressional Creative Rights Caucus. Our discussions centered on exploring avenues to improve the compensation of musicians across the United States, including tax fairness initiatives, protecting musicians, artists and their creations safe from impending AI growth, and protecting concertgoers and fair access to ticket pricing. It was truly an honor and a gratifying experience to collaborate with Congresswoman Chu, advocating for the advancement of artists' rights on both legal and federal fronts. Looking forward to making more progress in 2024.
